The Rock of the Polis

Originally a pre-fall military fortification, The Rock of the Polis, also known as "The Rock," was repurposed as a castle using scavenged and improvised materials before the formation of Dominus Columbia. Positioned on a hilltop, this once-active military site was adapted for new uses following the collapse of previous societal structures.   The fortress has been neglected for a generation, with significant damage visible across its central courtyard as if it were struck by a massive force. The compound is now covered in vegetation and predates the use of common Bailey electrical power. Despite this, the structure's foundation is robust, capable of resisting all but the most severe attacks if repairs are made. Its outer walls, constructed from concrete and reinforced with iron, include walkways along their length and feature a tall tower at each corner. The central building is relatively low, only two stories above ground but extending multiple floors below. With the necessary restoration, The Rock has the potential to serve as a formidable stronghold once more.
