Beholders Supra Store
The retail acolytes of Beholders Supra Store, often simply called The Beholders, are a strange guild of enthusiastic merchants peddling wares of uncertain provenance and often bizarre purpose. Their evangelists are known for their dedication to making the sale and adhering to a code of ethics found in their holy text the “Beholders Family Orientation Manual Vee Five Dot One Office Copy.” The items they put on display are attributed properties which border equally on the miraculous and preposterous, properties which do not always stand up to scrutiny, though that consumer scrutiny has also sometimes revealed previously unknown and equally uncanny qualities.
Exactly where these items come from is not abundantly clear from the Beholders’ pitches. The Beholders Store prides itself on being well-stocked but does not appear to do any manufacturing of its own. Boxes of unopened Beholders merchandise have sometimes been found seemingly abandoned in strange places, while those who have investigated their supply chain frequently return with stories of surreal hallucinations and lost time. When pressed on any of this Beholders Supra Store insists all of their products are “Ethically sourced and fair trade, whatever those words mean, and also a fantastic bargain!”
When faced with a particularly challenging order or customer request, the Beholders will sometimes task one of their own to go look in “The Back.” The Back is not a place but rather a kind of grail or vision quest in which the Beholder in question will wander the world in search of this mythical item, only to return when they have recovered it. Beholders have been known to return successfully from such journeys, but just as many disappear into the wasteland forever, never to be heard from again.
Beholders locations near you:
The Mother Store – Part trading house, part elaborate shrine, the Mother Store is the heart of the Beholders company. In it are not only shelves of their newest and best-selling wares, but also near constant medicine shows and play-acted infomercials to advertise to and entertain the masses. Sections are staged in what they describe as authentic and rigorously researched recreations of pre-fall life which showcase the many household amenities you can only procure from Beholders.
The Last Aisle – A run down storefront where the Beholders sell items deemed to be “defective” at a discount. What exactly constitutes defective in the context of Beholders’ eclectic product line is not always apparent, and caveat emptor to the incautious deal-hunter. The Last Aisle has also gained a reputation as the last stop for human resources that the Beholders have similarly deemed “defective” in some capacity.

Luckheed happily purchases what strange technology it thinks it can either divine insight from or use to effect on the battlefield, but the capricious nature of many of the products makes them reluctant to rely on such wonders.
