In the time since the fall, the waste has been an inhospitable place. Zed, raiders, bandits, things that go bump in the night, all threaten to tear you apart no matter where you go. Finding safety, anywhere to call home, is difficult on the best of days. However, there are some places that would bring hope to survivors.
Nestled behind towering walls that shield it from the hell of the wastes, a peninsula filled with people would thrive and survive. Building trade routes all across the Murican expanse, moving resources to aid hundreds of settlement’s survival, the traders and merchants would prosper, the settlement leaders would levy, technology would develop, armies would defend, and eventually the region would be a refuge.
Now able to defend themselves against the great horde, the peoples of this now becalmed place have become complacent in their safety, shrugging off any signs that something might be stirring. Now, they open up their gates once more to the wasteland, and one in particular puts out the call:
“Ellistown Landing is open to all, come and find your new home, for it is true what they say, all roads lead to Dominus Columbia!”- Senator
