Armistice between The Calvert Administration and the Templars of a Radiant Dawn

Armistice Duration: 116 DC - Current

Before the Three-Year Horde the Templars of a Radiant Dawn were a hostile organization on a good day, and a potential enemy of the state on a bad one. For the most part however the Templars of a Radiant Dawn kept to themselves outside of the occasional dispatch unit from their main facility, creating a form of Cold War between them and all neighboring administrations within The Bailey.

However, during the first year of the Three-Year Horde, The Wall that protects Dominus Columbia and its residents was hit harder than it had ever been hit before and the Drafted Service were stretched thin. In a bid for self-preservation and with a common enemy in sight The Calvert Administration and the Templars of a Radiant Dawn created a yearly Armistice so that they could both move resources away from each other’s borders and towards The Wall to defend Dominus Columbia as a whole. Adding the technology and firepower of the Templars of a Radiant Dawn, along with the extra military units normally stationed on the outside of J. Andrews Technology Enclave to the ranks of The Drafted Service on The Wall, the tides shifted greatly in the favor of Dominus Columbia and after three years The Wall endured the onslaught.

Several notable figures attribute this Armistice as a key focal decision that led to the survival of Dominus Columbia, but not all view the events the same way. Currently the Armistice has been renewed each year in November with little fuss during what is called the Adherence Summit, but tensions rise on both sides without a common foe to aim their attention towards.

Year 123 DC, the Adherence Summit to renew the Armistice takes place in Ellistown Landing.
