Dio Shift
Dio Shift is the head of the Mustang Diesel Jock Kheshig. He is a high-ranking officer in the Patrol Line that guards the roads of the Bailey, but is also deeply corrupt. Shift habitually enriches himself through bribes, protection rackets, and smuggling. A close ally of the Grist Family, Shift provides cover for many of their criminal operations, most notably Circus Carnifex which is hosted at the Mustang Kheshig's ridestop Piston Ranch.
Shift makes little secret that his ultimate goal is to have the Mustang Kheshig replace their rivals the Firebirds as the preeminent Kheshig among the Chrome Blooded, but as of yet his machinations have been stymied by the Firebirds' political manuevering and the other Kheshig leaders' personal dislike of Shift. As his influence grows though it may only be a matter of time before Shift attempts to take matters into his own hands.
